We are pleased to announce the dates for our annual Passover Partners and Senior Home Repair Day.
On March 21, help neighborhood seniors and disabled adults prepare for Passover and spring cleaning on our Passover Partners event.
On April 25, Senior Home Repair Day returns. Volunteer to remove plastic on windows, rake leaves, check smoke detectors, and perform minor home repairs.

We want to thank you so very much for volunteering with NADIV on Mitzvah Day!
In just three hours we prepared 100 Emergency Kits and distributed nearly 40 of those kits to our clients. We’ve heard nothing but positive feedback from the clients and they are so appreciative for your invaluable efforts.

Additionally, we have various volunteer opportunities that we would love to have you participate in. We are seeking volunteers for our Snow Removal Crew, Emergency Check-In Plan, and our Passover Partners Program.
We will contact you individually to discuss these in more detail as so many of you expressed interest in participating in other volunteer opportunities with CHAI.

This winter, CHAI is partnering with Baltimore City’s Department of Housing Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The WAP will help lower your fuel bills by 30 to 45 percent through air sealing and insulation. Not to mention keep your home more comfortable by having your furnace cleaned and tuned, and help protect the environment.
Sound good? Well our goal is to have as many eligible residents register to benefit from this Federal Stimulus Funded program.
It is worth noting that an energy auditor will determine what services, if any, will be provided. The program will also not replace any windows or doors, perform any plumbing work, or fix roofs.
