Meet the Staff
Alice Kolman — Director of Senior Home Services
Born and raised in Baltimore, Alice is the Director of Senior Home Services for CHAI.
Having spent 10 years in Toronto, Alice holds dual-citizenship in Canada and The United States. She also has a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto. As director, Alice oversees all of the Senior Home Repair, Senior Engagement and NADIV’s operations.
For Alice, giving back by assisting people in need, and creating community support and promoting safe independent living for seniors is the most beneficial part of CHAI and NADIV.
Parviz Baraghi — Senior Home Repair Manager
Hailing from Iran, Parviz has been in The United States for almost 12 years and been at CHAI for nearly four years. Currently residing in Baltimore County, Parviz serves as the Senior Home Repair Manager, overseeing all the modifications and repairs performed on clients’ homes.
Even with a lifetime of home repair experience, Parviz said he finds honing his interpersonal skills, learning about life, and providing assistance to the people who need it to be the most rewarding aspect of CHAI.
Molly Amster — NADIV Coordinator
As both NADIV Coordinator and Senior Engagement Coordinator, Molly sees how CHAI serves an invaluable role in the community on both levels. In her three years at CHAI, the Senior Home Repair program reminds her that the clients are not overlooked but valued members of the community.
